Florida Mermaid ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
What we collect
You give us: name, email, shipping address, sizing preferences, and any messages you send. When you reserve a pre-order, we store that reservation against your email.
We collect automatically: standard web analytics (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We don't use behavioral advertising trackers.
We don't sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Ever.
How we use it

- To email you about your pre-orders, collection launches, and shipping
- To answer the questions you send us
- To improve the site (aggregated, anonymized analytics)
If you join our newsletter or reserve a pre-order, we'll email you. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We use your email only to talk to you — not to sell, rent, or share with marketing partners.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@floridamermaid.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights under the CCPA / GDPR — same email, same response time.
Cookies
We use a few essential cookies (to keep you signed in, remember your wishlist). We don't use advertising cookies. Your browser lets you block all cookies if you prefer — the site will still work, you just won't keep a wishlist across visits.
Security
We use industry-standard security to protect your data: HTTPS for every page, hashed passwords, encrypted database storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously.
Children
Florida Mermaid is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from kids. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
